Network & Security Overhaul
The challenge
Meridian's 18 stores each ran on separate, unmanaged networks set up by different local vendors over the years. IT had no central visibility, security patching was inconsistent, and a single store outage could take hours to diagnose remotely.
The approach
Sastecs audited all 18 locations, standardized on a single managed network architecture, and rolled out centralized monitoring with automated alerting. Security controls were unified under one framework and deployed store-by-store with zero disruption to daily operations.
The outcome
Store-level outages are now detected and resolved remotely in minutes rather than hours. Security patching is centrally managed and consistent across every location.
Smart Building Rollout
The challenge
Each tower's HVAC and lighting ran on separate, disconnected panels, requiring staff to manually adjust settings building by building with no shared visibility.
The approach
Sastecs deployed a unified BMS layer connecting HVAC, lighting, and access control across all 3 towers into one dashboard, with automated scheduling based on occupancy.
The outcome
Energy costs dropped as systems now respond automatically to occupancy, and facilities staff manage all 3 buildings from a single screen.
Secure Cloud Migration
The challenge
An on-premise patient records system was aging, difficult to secure, and at risk of downtime with no disaster-recovery plan in place.
The approach
Sastecs planned and executed a phased migration to secure cloud infrastructure, running both systems in parallel during cutover to guarantee continuity of care.
The outcome
The migration completed with zero downtime and no disruption to patient services, with built-in backup and disaster recovery going forward.
Industrial Automation Upgrade
The challenge
Production line status was tracked manually through shift logs, making it hard to spot slowdowns or equipment issues until they'd already cost time.
The approach
Sastecs connected line sensors to a central IoT dashboard, giving supervisors real-time visibility into throughput and equipment health.
The outcome
Manual shift-log checks were replaced with live monitoring, cutting the time needed to detect and respond to line issues.
